Welcome to Redone by Ruthie, specializing in giving new life to old things. Each item is unique, "preused" or vintage, refinished and painted. Then I decorate items with decoupage (using individually cut images from used magazines or vintage books) technique that gives each one a unique look. In many pieces I also incorporate vintage buttons, antique toys and vintage jewels. Another signature aspect of Redone by Ruthie items are that the backs and bottoms have not been forgotten, they also have been decorated. Truely a unique product that can be viewed from all sides.

why this business?

I've had a life long love/passion for all things old, antique and vintage. I've been collecting items, mostly household things, furniture, dishes, purses, fashions and compacts for over 20 years. During this time I've grown even more passionate about turning "junk" into art, "upcycling", giving a new use for the item.
